Marriage and Relationship Counseling

Jean has 25 years of experience in marriage and relationship counseling.  She uses materials from some of the most respected and widely read relationship authors who have decoded the subtle secrets that can either enrich or destroy the quality of  ties with couples.

Jean’s counseling perspective:

Healthy relationships do not just happen, it takes work, commitment and a desire to truly connect at a deeper level with their husband or wife.  Both men and women have a responsibility to look at themselves and what they are doing to contribute to whatever state they find their relationship in.

Jean believes there are no hopeless marriages, just people who have grown hopeless and find it difficult to find common ground to work.  She tries to bring a broader perspective and encouragement to continue working on their communication and understanding of each other.

Active listening is a major part of the counseling effort.  We all want to be listened to and heard.
